In the future, some pop culture historians might recall the 2000s as the time when 'American Idol' reigned and we survived Janet Jackson's nipple, Auto-Tune, mash-ups and rap-rock. I'll look back on the decade as being a great era for musicians. For my best of the 2000s, I picked artists, tracks and albums that I never get sick of hearing. For my worst, I picked a playlist that I believe would literally drive me insane if I was ever stuck in a Gitmo-style prison. It's been a hell of a decade, and here's to the 2010s being even better.
