Amy Winehouse Arrested for Alleged Assault

Amy Winehouse is ending 2009 on quite a loud note. The 'Rehab' singer has been charged with assault stemming from an altercation on Saturday, Dec. 19.

Winehouse allegedly got into an altercation with the manager of the Milton Keynes Theatre where she was attending a performance of 'Cinderella' that featured actor Mickey Rooney. According to the London Times, the 26-year-old disrupted the audience, which was filled with children, when she began cursing at the performers, allegedly saying things such as "F--- Cinders, Prince Charming, marry me" and "He's f---ing behind you."

After the actors and audience grew upset, theater manager Richard Pound asked Winehouse to change seats when she allegedly pulled his hair, punched and kicked him. She was arrested after voluntarily showing up at the Milton Keynes police station with a legal advisor.

Winehouse was booked under the name Amy Civil, her name from former and soon-to-be-husband-again Blake Fielder-Civil, and charged with "a public order offence and common assault." She's due in Magistrates' Court on Jan. 20.

The trouble with being a genius is that normal people are scared or jealous, they can't understand gunius so they knock it, that's right, that's 95% of you lot, you hound and put genius down because you are jealous, leave the girl alone (all of you, inc media) "some birds just aren't meant to be caged, their feathers are just too bright" Well Amy is caged in this small minded shithole of a country, she should just get away from the nut house we live in,, I'll bet the idiots puting her down all class yourselves as Christians, about 2000 years ago there was someone else who was different, and because he was different people were scared, even though they all knew he was a genius and brilliant,, but "normal£ people just don't understand, they are all afraid and spineless, don't persecute Amy like this, love her and appreciate what we have with her, all you small minded pricks, just get a life!

I seem to recollect that her father mentioned that 'she had changed' on her return from the Caribbean. What a farce - very sad statement as he is deluding himself! She is such a pathetic person (actually 'person' is too nice a word for her) - Amy and Blake make the most wonderful moronic match ever!!! Put her behind bars and throw away the key.

I am shocked by the grammar in a lot of comments - invest in some English lessons before posting anything!!!
