The show is scheduled to be broadcast in January and despite being asked to appear, the UK's Probation Service have slapped a ban on the singer claiming that Boy George -- real name George O'Dowd -- would pose "a high level of risk" of undermining public confidence in the service's reputation.
George was released from prison early for imprisoning a male escort.
Mr Justice Bean said, "I consider that right-thinking members of the public would take the view that an offender serving the non-custodial part of a sentence of imprisonment should not be allowed to take part in a high profile, controversial television production, promoting his status as a celebrity and with considerable financial gain."
There has been no word from George's legal team as to whether they'll appeal against the decision or not.
