One person not experiencing a bit of Christmas cheer is former Culture Club singer-turned-DJ Boy George who has been told by a High' Court judge that he cannot participate in the final series of 'Celebrity Big Brother.'The show is scheduled to be broadcast in January and despite being asked to appear, the UK's Probation Service have slapped a ban on the singer claiming that Boy George -- real name George O'Dowd -- would pose "a high level of risk" of undermining public confidence in the service's reputation.
George was released from prison early for imprisoning a male escort.
Mr Justice Bean said, "I consider that right-thinking members of the public would take the view that an offender serving the non-custodial part of a sentence of imprisonment should not be allowed to take part in a high profile, controversial television production, promoting his status as a celebrity and with considerable financial gain."
There has been no word from George's legal team as to whether they'll appeal against the decision or not.
