Gene Simmons Sued Over Alleged Shopping Mall Attack

Gene SimmonsKiss bassist, comic book superhero and celebrity playboy Gene Simmons successfully dodged a restraining order on Wednesday only to be smacked by a civil lawsuit on Thursday. TMZ reports that Nathan Marlowe and Cynthia Manzo are suing Simmons over an alleged incident of assault and battery, which in turn, of course, caused the couple emotional distress.

No word on whether or not "theft" is included in the action itself, but the complaint stems from a December 19 incident, at a Los Angeles area shopping mall, that Marlowe claims ended by Simmons making off with his camera. First, however, Simmons is accused of grabbing both Marlowe and Manzo by the neck, in turn, and threatening their lives. Simmons was provoked when Marlowe tried to film him at the mall, asking him questions about his sexual reputation.
Simmons -- internationally known for his tongue-wagging sexual innuendos -- famously claims to have slept with over a thousand women. But, apparently, he doesn't like to be questioned about it while doing last-minute holiday shopping. Or something.

I think its takes a lot of guts to intrude on Genes personal time during his holiday shopping or whenever he goes anywhere just because hes famous you uncaring idiots have to bother him and then to get personal with questions youre lucky that Gene didnt accuse you of harrassing him in public which is against the law in most states so you who took pictures and asked personal questions got exactly what was coming to you so stop hiding behind a law suit just because Gene is famous and you cant or wont admit your wrong doing and furthermore I do also hope Gene countersues you for invasion of his privacy which we are all entitled to famous or not!!!!!!!!!

In relation to the Gene Simmons story, obviously there
are idiots out there who just cant respect anybody when they are told.. No pics, vids or questions !! It's simple leave me alone..For instance (TMZ) here is one of those sources that are an insult to anyone who knows any better and you all in TMZ know what Im talking about !! Whatever really happened I believe should have happened..If indeed he grabbed them by the scruff of the neck, good for him & too bad for the little sucks who should have known better..I hoping that they eventually come to their wits (American Justice) when it comes to all this random suing that's going on..Really get over it !

Ummmm....If you read the first line. I don't condone what he did, IF he did it. I'm simply saying that people need to mind their own business, and not be a crybaby when the person they are HARRASSING responds in a way they don't like.

Another example of "A" holes not knowing how to behave. Every "A" hole now with a camera or cell phone is a low life paparazzi.

They should legalize, beating someone over the head for provocation.

Right you half-wit. He's a washed up worthless piece of garbage... I guess that's why your parents were trying to interview him at the mall... and now they're sueing him.

What?!

People can be rude and ... dangerous, in my opinion. Looked like these rude people wouldn't care for any respect, like they did to the authorities. I believe that people growing up disrespecting the authorities such as their parents, teachers, police officers, etc. are dangerous.
