Jarvis Cocker Says He Would Consider 'Strictly Come Dancing'

Former Pulp frontman Jarvis Cocker has said that he would be interested taking part on UK TV dance contest show Strictly Come Dancing.Speaking in the February issue of Uncut magazine, the Sheffield singer says the show reminds him of visits to Blackpool, expressing: "I would definitely consider it. I've always found it really moving, especially going to the ballroom below Blackpool Tower - watching all these old couples dancing while a guy played the organ."
However, despite Cocker's history of energetic stage routines and dancing, his comments don't necessarily mean we can expect him to be cropping up on the BBC show.
Back in October last year, a comment misconstrued in the People newspaper fuelled rumours that Pulp, who have been on hiatus since 2002, would reunite to play this year's Glastonbury.
Cocker has since said his original comment, "Glastonbury means an awful lot to me, I would love to play there again. We've talked about it, there we go, there'll be a band reunion" that it was a misquote and would not happen.
Pulp have previously headlined the Worthy Farm event twice, in 1995 and 1998.

What? Johnny Rotten's still alive?
As for the Jarvo, don't expect it. This guy never took interviews seriously and is always cheeky/sarcastic. But if indeed he joins, still not surprising. He was in Stars in your Eyes, memba? However, this guy turned down huge cash to reform for Glasto, refused offers from Coca cola, etc. to use his music but would easily consider Strictly. WTF?
For christsakes learn to write properly will you, you're just being really lazy, but then I suppose you're a lazy illiterate.
