Wilco Expand Tour With East Coast Jaunt

Wilco have extended their Spring US tour, having added a string of East Coast dates to what is rapidly becoming a packed 2010 itinerary.The North American leg of their global odyssey in support of 2009's 'Wilco (The Album)' now runs from a Feb. 7 show in Missoula, Mont., to an Apr. 11 stop in Philadelphia. Following a handful of previously announced West Coast performances and a series of Canadian and Midwestern gigs -- with support coming from Califone and Bahamas -- the Chicagoan rockers will pitch up in Miami Beach, Florida, on Mar. 22 and begin a three week-long journey up the coast.
In all, Jeff Tweedy and crew will play 16 shows at mid-sized venues (full dates below) on the Eastern seaboard before heading overseas to tour Japan, Australia and New Zealand. If that wasn't enough, the band also have a couple of European festival slots penciled in for the summer.
