ELVIS FOREVER! His contribution to America, both in his music and in sharing his wealth so generously, will never be forgotten. Elvis donated much of the money that funded the memorial for the U.S. Arizona, a battleship moored in Pearl Harbor and sunk by the Japanese during the attack of December 7, 1941. Thousands of sailors died in that sinking ship, and are entombed within it.

His death was untimely, to say the least. I think you tried to reply to me, but the alphabet soup link didn't work, but I do want to thank you for trying. After any beloved performer or leader dies too soon, there are always some who cannot accept his death, or who even try to resurrect him. After the great revolutionary Emiliano Zapata was assassinated in Mexico around 1912, rumors swept the country that he had come alive again. Hope springs eternal! May God bless you and the Presley family.

Happy Birthday my sweet Elvis.
Elvis's music will live on long after any fuss about his sideburns or his stage gyrations is forgotten. He had the most fantastic sense of musical timing; he could bring a lyric straight into a listener's heart. He was the greatest histrionic singer, never to be equalled, and he put meaning into verses that lesser singers thought silly, like Hound Dog and Teddy Bear. He also had the matchless ability to elicit love, especially from female fans. Like Frank Sinatra, he received massive feminine adoration; both were the lone offspring of excessively devoted mothers.
Elvis had the personal strength to withstand attacks from all sorts of moralizers who condemned him and claimed he was a bad influence on teens. But, considering his wealth, the temptations, isolation and pressures of fame, Elvis behaved remarkably well, in comparison with other megastars. But, he was done in by drug dependency, which began in the Army when officers were passing out Benzedrine pills to keep soldiers awake on watch at night. Elvis got started on these pills after he was nearly overcome by fumes from a small gas heater he had brought along to keep warm on his night watch during the German winter. In those days, Benzedrine was available without prescription and nobody knew how harmful it was. Addiction was not well understood. Elvis's drug habit got worse; he became increasingly dependent on powerful prescription narcotics, and this is what finally took his life.

and do the research. Elvis Is Very Much ALIVE & Well, living as Jesse Presley somewhere in Oregon State. They even have photos of him with his grandson Ben sitting on his lap! The whole entire death thing was a hoax, planned by Elvis & the Col with the aid of the FBI. Joe Esposito, Priscilla, Lisa Marie and a few other select close family members know the truth. It took 2 years of very detailed planning to do the hoax. Even Vernon knew the truth !
