Ting Tings Collaborating With Rihanna

The Ting Tings will reportedly collaborate with chartbuster Rihanna on their second studio release. Originally reported by the Daily Star, the revelation makes sense in the wake of earlier reports that the Manchester duo has signed with Jay-Z's Roc Nation label.Hova -- who has been instrumental in Rihanna's successful career -- is supposedly having a hand in the production efforts for the follow up to 'We Started Nothing,' which topped the album charts in 2008.
In November, a source told the UK newspaper, "Jay is hoping to lend his production skills to some of the new material. The staccato rhythmic style of the Ting Tings sits well with what he does best, so that was the attraction."
The Ting Tings started work on the follow up to their debut, which has sold over a million copies globally, last year at a Berlin jazz club-turned-studio. The duo -- singer/guitarist Katie White and drummer/programmer Jules de Martino -- are best known to date for their worldwide smash hit 'That's Not My Name.'

What happens when you get one of the least talented pop acts to collaborate with one of the least talented pop singers in the business? ABSOLUTE SHIT. Caca. toilet.
What happened to real musicians?
And what have you accomplished musically? I think there is a lot more depth to this group than meets the eye. Just because the beat or the number of chords played seem simple doesn't mean it is easy to come up with something that resonates with the public and has a fresh, unique sound. That takes real genius, and is often unappreciated by those who lack that genius. I think these two are brilliant, and it is fascinating to watch them multi-tasking their way through a frenetically paced performance.
