Amy Winehouse to Remarry Ex-Husband in St. Lucia

Amy Winehouse is reportedly returning to the Carribbean island of St. Lucia to remarry Blake Fielder-Civil, who filed from divorce from the singer after she was photographed with several different men while vacationing on the island last year. The pair was married in 2007 and their divorce was finalized in September 2009 after Winehouse admitted to adultery.According to the U.K.'s Mirror, Winehouse, 26, wants to prove her commitment to Fielder-Civil, 31, who is currently in rehab, by remarrying him at the resort she escaped to last summer to sober up. Fielder-Civil is in rehab as a result of a reduced sentence for a 2007 assault on a pub landlord. He finishes his stint next month.
Winehouse allegedly told a friend this week, "Everything feels right with Blake now. As soon as he's cleared to leave the country and his drug rehab is done it will happen." The singer also recently changed her Twitter picture to a photo of her and Fielder-Civil embracing.
The news comes several weeks after Fielder-Civil revealed to the Sun that the two were engaged for a second time. Calling Winehouse "the love of my life," Fielder-Civil said the pair are "doing things properly" this time around "and hopefully that will help our families both come round to the idea."
Winehouse appeared to confirm the news, writing on Facebook in December, "What's the point in trying to stand in the way of true love?"
With Fielder-Civil away, Winehouse has been working to resume her career. After several botched performances in 2009, including an Island Records anniversary party in London that Winehouse failed to show up for, the singer appeared on stage during the Specials' V Festival set in August. Since then, she has been focused on her label, Lioness Records, and promoting her goddaughter Dionne Bromfield's first album. She sings backing vocals on several of the album's tracks.
Winehouse hasn't completely kept out of trouble with Fielder-Civil away, however. She is due in court Jan. 20 following an arrest following disruptive and violent behavior at a performance of 'Cinderella' featuring Mickey Rooney at the U.K.'s Milton Keynes Theatre in December. Winehouse reportedly swore and yelled at the actors in a theater filled mostly with children and their parents, and kicked, punched and pulled the hair of the venue manager when he requested she change seats. She later voluntarily showed up at a police station with a legal adviser and was arrested.
