Ellie Goulding Among Acts at New London Urban Festival

She's winner of the BBC's Sound of 2010 countdown. Now she's set to play London's Next Big Thing festival. Ever get the feeling Ellie Goulding's star is on the rise?

Goulding will headline the Relentless Garage on Feb. 10 as part of the week-and-a-bit-long, multi-venue bash that kicks off Feb. 5. On Friday (Jan. 8), the 22-year-old Hereford native -- who fuses poppy, indie songwriting with electronic influences -- was named to the top spot on the BBC's annual ones to watch list, beating out art-pop diva Marina and the Diamonds and Manchester-based guitar-dance trio Delphic.

Previous Sound Of... victors who went on to achieve chart success include Adele, Mika and Corinne Bailey Rae. Last year's number one Little Boots, however, has so far underachieved in comparison to those she beat -- including Florence and the Machine, White Lies, La Roux and Lady GaGa.

Other artists announced on the Next Big Thing bill include Johnny Flynn (Barfly, Feb. 10), Two Door Cinema Club (Barfly, Feb. 14) and, somewhat confusingly, three album veterans Mystery Jets (also Barfly, Feb. 14). The festival will take place over six small venues around London, with tickets available to purchase now.
