Ringo Starr Reunited With Sir Paul McCartney

Forty years after the traumatic break-up of the Beatles and the Fab Four's erstwhile drummer Ringo Starr has revealed he and former colleague Sir Paul McCartney have been reunited for a couple of tracks on his new album, 'Y Not.'

Speaking of the collaboration with Billboard.com, Starr said the original plan was for Sir Paul to appear as a bassist on just one track, 'Peace Dream', but his guest soon had different ideas when he also added vocals to 'Walk with You.'

He said, "He heard that one and said, 'Gimme a pair of (headphones) and give me a track. I want to do something on that.' And then he just did that follow [vocal]. He comes in a beat after me ... so that's how that ended up."

Sir Paul isn't the only big name to appear on the album. Eagles guitarist Joe Walsh, singer Joss Stone, Ben Harper and All Starr Band members Edgar Winter, Billy Squier, Gary Wright and Richard Marx are all set to make a contribution.

Starr plans to hit the road with the All Starr Band later in the year.

Hold on. What's this stuff about after 40 years they are to work together again!!!!!!!!! I seem to remember a certain Mr Starr playing drums on McCartney " Give my regards to Broad Street" film project!!! and sound track. Plus McCartney, Harrison, and Starr recorded a Lennon song as the Beatles with Lennon on vocals about 15 years ago. Yes its great that the 2 of them are working together again, but its a long way short of 40 years

I would like to apologize too for Timbo being a tard. You see, shortly after his mom gave birth, I abandoned them both when I discovered that his mom was a careless, crack smoking drunkard. We're so sorry, Uncle Albert......... for dropping your nephew on his head

JOHN LENNON WAS ASKED."IS RINGO THE BEST DRUMMER IN THE WORLD?" AND HE ANSWERED "RINGO AINT EVEN THE BEST DRUMMER IN THE BEATLES." HAVING SAID THAT, THE BEATLES WITHOUT RINGO WOULD BE LIKE AMERICA WITHOUT THE STATUE OF LIBERTY. THOSE GUYS DEFINED EACH OTHER. THEY WERE BRILLIANT. WE ALL HAVE FAULTS AND THE BEATLES WHERE ALL HUMAN AFTR ALL...GOOD LUCK TO RINGO AND PAUL LONG MAY THEY KEEP THE MEMORY ALIVE.

Ringo Starr has to have 'guests' on his album because he doesn't have the talent to carry it off alone. He has never had any talent other than to ride on the back of true genius.
Sure to be a total flop and so what.

Ringo's band may go down well in the US but he won't be welcomed in his home city of Liverpool. He is a figure of ridicule there after he slated the city on prime time UK tv in 2008

In fact all 4 Beatles were knighted by the Queen. He would not be Sir Ringo but he is in fact Sir Richard Starkey as is Sir George Harrison and Sir Paul. John however returned his knighthood in 1969 to protest the Faulkland War and because Cold turkey was slipping down the charts.
