Spoon, Deerhunter Book Spring US Trek

Spoon have recruited Deerhunter to support them on their upcoming North American tour. The trek, which is in support of Texan band's soon-to-be-released seventh album 'Transference,' kicks off in their home city of Austin in Texas with a South by South-West showcase gig in support of US radio station NPR on Mar. 17.The month-long run follows a short European tour and will conclude on Apr. 13 with a gig in Oakland, California. Along with Atlanta rockers Deerhunter, Britt Daniel and co have tapped fellow Texans the Strange Boys to open roughly half the spring shows.
They will be replaced mid-tour by up-and-coming London-based experimentalists Micachu and the Shapes. Full tour dates are below.
