It was none other than former bandmate John Lennon who once cruelly quipped that Ringo Starr wasn't even the best drummer in the Beatles let alone the world, but the Fab Four's time keeper has admitted that he's even worse when it comes to 'he Beatles: Rock Band' video game.Speaking with 'Late Night' host Jimmy Fallon, Starr admitted, "I'm am absolutely crap at it.
"I'm really bad at it but I've tried it. We tried it when they were putting it together and they'd bring all these geniuses out to play it. It's too frantic for me."
Maybe so, but Starr -- who turns 70 in July -- is as active as ever when it comes to his craft. He plans to spend his birthday by playing a gig at New York's famed Radio City Music Hall as part of a summer tour with the latest incarnation of the All Starr Band. His 15th solo album, 'Y Not,' has just been released.
Starr has also revealed that he's turned down numerous offers of writing an autobiography. He told USA Today,
"I have no real intention of ever writing a book. It's brought up every now and then, and people will offer you a lot of money as long as you tell them how John Lennon really was. It's always that.
"I could do 12 volumes before I ever got into the band. I have more life than that, but they only want to know about that one."
