Duffy Starts on 'Rockferry' Follow-Up in New York

Welsh singing sensation Duffy has begun work on her second album, with recording sessions in New York planned for the next three weeks.The multi-award winning Duffy -- with three BRIT Awards and a Grammy -- achieved with her 2008 debut album 'Rockferry,' has according to Billboard, teamed up with a few other artists for the new songs, including 70s songwriter Albert Hammond Snr -- father of the Strokes' Albert Hammond Jnr.
Duffy is also reportedly writing tracks with hip hop artist and producer Ahmir "Questlove" Thompson, Billboard reported. He has previously collaborated with NERD and Christina Aguilera and produced records by Al Green and Erykah Badu as well as winning a Grammy with his band the Roots.
The singer, who scooped the honour of making the biggest selling album in 2008, expects to release the follow-up before the end of this year.
