Teddy Pendergrass' Public Funeral Announced in Philadelphia

As Spinner previously reported, soul hero Teddy Pendergrass passed away on Wednesday following a long battle with colon cancer. On Thursday, his publicist released details of his funeral arrangements.The public viewing will be held on Friday, January 22 at 10AM, at the Enon Tabernacle Baptist Church in Philadelphia, Pa. The funeral will be held there the following day, Saturday, at 10AM with the interment to follow at West Laurel Hill Cemetery in Bala Cynwyd, Pa.
The family politely requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to The Joan and Teddy Pendergrass Memorial, P.O. Box 382, Gladwyne, PA 19035.

First i want to send the pendergrass family my sympathy for the lost of their loved one teddy pendergrass i love teddy pendergrass ever sice the first time that i heard him sing my favorite song come go with me i'm going to keep this short i have never in my life seen teddy pendergrass face to face or in person but when i heard the bad news it stunned me but his viewing and funeral was the first time i laid eyes on teddy and i broke down and cried i have never seen him until those days and yes it broke my hart to see him that way instead of performing and the viewing and funeral was held across the street from where i livei will always love teddy pendergrass and his memories will forever live on through his nusic
