Keane are set to return this spring with the release of an eight-track EP titled 'Night Train', and there are some interesting collaborators on board.Released on May 10, the trio recorded the songs in the midst of a world tour in 2008 promoting latest LP 'Perfect Symmetry.'
The EP benefits from the services of intense political rapper K'Naan, who adds vocals to 'Stop For A Minute', while Japanese MC Tigarah helps out the Sussex trio on 'Ishin Denshin (You've Got To Help Yourself)'. The EP also sees a rare lead vocal outing from Keane's main songwriter, Tim Rice-Oxley, on 'Your Love'.
"I think those tracks show us in a completely different light," lead singer Tom Chaplin has said of the EP.
Keane will also embark on a 'forest tour' in the UK in June, playing six dates across the nation's woodland reservations, including a "homecoming" show at Kent's Bedgeley Pinetum, not far from where members of the band went to school.
