Road Report: Diane Birch Joins Nick Jonas and the Administration on Tour

Diane Birch is showcasing her soulful piano rock on the road alongside Nick Jonas and the Administration, whom she recently met up with in the Jonas Brother's hometown, Dallas, Texas. The month-long run, supporting her debut album 'Bible Belt,' kicked off in the Lone Star State, then hitting Nashville, Washington, D.C. and New York with Birch documenting the trek in pictures all along the way.

Below, the 26-year-old offers fans a personal tour pictorial, complete with first-hand details about the Michigan native's road adventures. Birch will continue her U.S. run with Nick Jonas and the Administration through January 30.

Dallas, Jan. 3: Only a day after New Years, having spent the holidays at my family's home in Portland, Ore., with the taste of champers still lingering.

Dallas, Jan. 3: I joined up with my band as we set sail for the first stop on the Nick Jonas & the Administration US tour. Naturally, we were to meet up with the Jonas' crew in Dallas, Texas -- Nick's hometown. Over this past year, I've had the privilege of spending quite a bit of time in Texas, and I must say it has a very special place in my heart.

Dallas, Jan. 3: My four band members -- Alex Foote on guitar, Jay Foote on bass, Eric Bloom on trumpet and Jay Frederick on drums -- never fail to put on a good show, and they seemed to be quite a hit with the ladies too!

Dallas, Jan. 3: Our month-long run of dates got off with a bang at the Dallas House of Blues [with] the incredible Texan (or Dallasite, to be exact) crowd giving me a really warm welcome and a great home-away-from-home feeling.

Nashville, Jan. 4: After two nights in Dallas, the next stop was at the former home of the Grand Ole Opry, the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tenn. You can't even begin to name some of the folks who have played there! It was truly an honor.
