The album, which contains a cover of the Flying Burrito Brothers' 'Wheels,' was recorded in Brooklyn, Los Angeles and a "haunted studio in London" according to his own self-penned press release.
The man otherwise known as Frank Black said of the ghoulish recording process, "I wrote many a couplet by candlelight in the studio accommodation, slept very little, and only felt the need to get the f--- out of there fast on the last night. 'NonStopErotik' is his first album proper since 2007's 'Bluefinger,' though in 2008 he released the mini-album 'Svn Fngrs' and has also written the score for 1920s silent film 'The Golem.' It was also announced recently that The Pixies will perform at Barcelona's Primavera Sound festival in May.
