Sade, 'Soldier of Love (Making Of)' -- Video Premiere

The video was also challenging to create. Choreographer Fatima Robinson says here that she hadn't even heard the track prior to the shoot and had little time to prepare. But by the time director Sophie Muller called it a wrap, they had Sade engaged in everything from horseback riding to an authentic tango. Robinson says that Sade has "this undeniable sexiness ... that she doesn't even know she has." That may be true -- she may not know it, but we sure do. Check out the video after the jump.

This of one of the best videos and songs, I like all of Sada's music very much. All of her music is clean and tells some type of story of life.

February 06 2010 at 9:49 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyAs an American who taught English in SouthEast Asia, for example China, Thailand, Vietnam and the Country of Cambodia, I enjoyed teaching my students and friends about great music and Album Artwork (e.g., "Love Deluxe" by Sade and "Pin Ups" by David Bowie)! Moreover, many of the woman whom I dated loved to experience the sound of Sade's music making. Her music really makes you feel new things and lets you know that, not only does Sade "have the music in her", but futhermore that she can love and express her love via the experience of making music. In addition, I feel (that Sade's new work, when I compare this new piece of music of hers to her prior pieces of music in my collection of hers and other artists) that she is exploring the creation of a new type of very creative "Soul-Mate" music somewhere between that of Yoko Ono, Brams, Chopin and David Bowie! In a similar creative way, Sade's new video reminds me of some movies that I enjoy the most regarding the choice of Earth's future, either a "Negative Utopia" or a "Utopia", for example "1984", "Brave New World", "THX-1138", "Mad Max:Thunderdome", "The Shape Of Things To Come" and "The Man Who Fell To Earth"!
Love on Yah,

AWESOME, LISTENED TO HER IN THE 80'S, THEY COME AND GO, NOT "SADE" SHE IS THE "QUEEN" HURRY AND START YOUR TOUR, LOVE A LONG TIME FAN.
I'm so happy that you (Sade) have something to express- to give to us because there is a need! The world is in turmoil and the songs I've been able to listen to so far touched my soul. Thank you all and as one of the title of the song says, Bring me home! Much love to you, your families & friends for keeping you all safe!
