Nine years after his controversial Grammy collaboration with Eminem, Elton John will reportedly team with pop sensation Lady Gaga for the award ceremony, to be held this Sunday in Los Angeles. While there's no word yet on what song Sir Elton would perform with the 'Poker Face' chartbuster, the anticipated pairing could become the 52nd annual event's most talked about moments. When asked about a potential duet this week while in Utah for the Sundance Film Festival, the Rocket Man declined to comment to U.K.'s Metro while attending the Rainbow Media dinner. However, an insider told the publication, details of the collaboration had yet to be "finalized."
Should it indeed go off, the performance of John, 62, and Gaga, 23, at the Grammys will be a good warm-up for another upcoming pairing. Lady Gaga is also slated to perform on Feb. 10 at AIDS foundation AmfAR's benefit gala honoring the rock icon.
