Road Report: Diane Birch Gets Lucky on the East Coast

This month, Diane Birch is showcasing her soulful piano rock on the road alongside Nick Jonas and the Administration. The 26-year-old singer-songwriter is supporting her debut album, 'Bible Belt,' on the U.S. run, which recently hit New York, Philadelphia and Boston. Below, Diane offers fans a personal tour pictorial, complete with first-hand details about her road adventures. Birch will wrap her stint with Nick Jonas on January 30.

After a couple days to ground myself back in NY, we set out for the next leg of destinations with Philly as our first stop. The day was potentially disastrous as the backdoor of the van was left open by mistake upon leaving Brooklyn, and my suitcase (with all my favorite things) somehow fell out the back. Randomly, a man from the Blue Man Group saw it fly out and kindly left it at my local pizza joint.

Man, am I lucky and also very thankful that I filled out one of those airline tags with my contact info. Sadly, until it was returned, I was stuck with nothing to wear besides my PJ's and boyfriend's sweater, but after a little trip to Barney's I managed to throw something together (though still a bit random). After an east coast run we head out for the Midwest...more to come. :)
