During her Grammy performance of 'If I Were a Boy,' Beyonce took the time to pay homage to Alanis Morissette with a brief cover of 'You Oughta Know' from Morissette's breakthrough 1995 album 'Jagged Little Pill.' It was quick, it had guitars and left her on her knees -- not surprisingly, it also brought the entire crowd to a standing ovation. Earlier in the evening, Beyonce won the Grammy for Song of the Year for 'Single Ladies' but wasn't present for the acceptance, as she was prepping for her performance.
