Green Day Performs '21 Guns' With 'American Idiot' Musical Cast at Grammys

The cast of the show performed '21 Guns' alongside the band, pairing Armstrong with assorted female vocalists who didn't miss a beat when the band was bringing out the harder rock aspects of the song. If there's anything that can be learned from this teaser, this Broadway show is going to have one boisterous collective singing Green Day.

Green Day is up for three Grammy Awards: Best Rock Song and Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group for '21 Guns' and Best Rock Album for '21st Century Breakdown.'

Saw American Idiot in N.Y. Last Sat. Nite, and loved every bit of it, sat on 3rd row front where curtin opens great play, music and dancing all super great. Got a card that was thrown by cast that landed on my Lap, and nearly had a drum stick, but this 85 yr old missed getting it by inches. Got to meet 3 of actors and got autographs on my Tee Shirt, came home all uplifted, Congrats to the whole cast!!!
