Kings of Leon Win Record of the Year at Grammys
Kings of Leon can now add Record of the Year to their collection of wins at this year's Grammy Awards. The Nashville foursome were up against pop heavyweights the Black Eyed Peas, Lady Gaga, Beyoncé and country princess Taylor Swift.
Kings of Leon has already won two Grammys this year: Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group With Vocals and Best Rock Song. The only nomination the band lost was Song of the Year, which went to Beyoncé.
As excited as they were to get on stage and accept their third Grammy, Kings of Leon admitted they weren't really feeling themselves at the moment."I'm not gonna lie we're all a little drunk," said Kings of Leon frontman Caleb Followill. "But we're happy drunk. Thank you."
