It sold out in a day without a naming a single act on the bill, but 175,000 ticket holders are about to find out with news that this year's Glastonbury Festival line-up is very nearly complete.Speaking to the BBC, co-organiser Emily Eavis confirmed that despite still waiting for the Sunday night headline to sign on the doted line, the line-up is "pretty much finalised".
She said: "We're pretty much sewn up now. We're still confirming the Sunday night headliner. Apart from that we've pretty much finalised the Pyramid Stage, which is good. There are rumours about everyone I think. I think this is the first year that people genuinely don't know who is going to be playing, which is a good thing."
To date, the only headline act to have been announced thus far are Irish megastars U2 who will top the Friday night bill on the Pyramid Stage.
With the festival celebrating its 40th anniversary this summer, Eavis has told fans to expect highlights from the last four decades as well as newer acts.
She said, "We've got amazing highlights from the full 40 years and also some people who haven't played before, one headliner in particular."
The Glastonbury Festival take place at Worthy Farm, Somerset from Jun. 25 - 27.
