Sex Pistol John Lydon Settles Assault Case

Sex Pistols and PiL frontman John Lydon has concluded an assault case in Los Angeles by settling out-of-court with Roxanne Davis -- a talent producer for Bodog Music.Davis had sued in June 2008 for 19 'cause of actions' -- including assault and battery and wrongful termination -- alleging that Lydon punched her in the face.
Davis claimed that being unhappy with a Cleveland hotel room she had placed the singer in during filming for TV show 'Bodog Battle of the Bands,' Lydon became verbally and then physically angry.
The reality TV programme featured 54-year old Lydon, an LA resident, as a judge and Davis claimed in her deposition, "He started calling me names. And when I told him he couldn't speak to me that way he pulled back his fist and hit me."
The terms of the settlement filed at Los Angeles Superior Court have not been divulged.

Please...Lydon was lucky he got put up in any kind of hotel. Old washed up rockers like him can't afford to be choosy. The judge should let this woman punch him in the face in the courtroom and let everyone there take a turn; then dismiss the case.
