If reports that Radiohead have completed work on their next album weren't enough for one day, the band's fans will also be stoked to learn that frontman Thom Yorke has been announced as a special guest on 'Cosmogramma,' the forthcoming album by Flying Lotus. The L.A.-based electronic producer's next disc finds Yorke lending his distinct pipes to the track '...And the World Laughs With You.'Speaking to Pitchfork, Flying Lotus explained, "I'm finally getting to the point where I can make the kind of records that I want to make -- that I wanted to make when I was younger, things that I dreamed about making. It's this fusion-y kind of thing where all the elements of the music that I love are there."
Aside from Yorke, guest vocalist Laura Darlington -- who previously lent her voice to 'Infinitum,' the closing number on Flying Lotus' predecessor 'Los Angeles' -- turns up again, helping out on 'Table Tennis.' Elsewhere, the man born Steven Ellison gets assistance from Outkast and Erykah Badu string arranger Miguel Atwood-Ferguson. ''Cosmogramma' is due out May 4.
