Yeah Yeah Yeahs Zinner Snaps New Single Cover Shot

Just in case the whole skinny-fit, wild-haired indie-guitar hero thing ever falls through,Yeah Yeah Yeahs shredder Nick Zinner is keeping his hand in with his back-up gig. The guitarist, who studied photography at boho New York college Bard and has published a handful of collections of his work, has snapped a murky winter scene for the cover of the band's new single 'Skeletons'.The bleak, black and white composition captures a Massachusetts barn (apparently the birthplace of 'Skeletons') in the midst of a snowstorm and can be seen in its full, 7-inch glory on the vinyl edition of the new release, due out Mar. 1.
'Skeletons' will be available in a limited run of 500 numbered copies and will be backed with an acoustic rendition of the A-side. The track is the third tune to be released off the Karen O-fronted trio's third album 'It's Blitz'. It follows 2009 hits 'Zero' and 'Heads Will Roll'.
A music video for 'Skeletons' -- directed by Barney Clay, who also created the 'Zero' promo -- has also been unveiled.
