Since her split from Hello Stranger in 2008, Juliette Commagere has made much headway as a solo artist. Although she collaborated with artists like Puscifier and Avenged Sevenfold since the breakup, Commagere has been praised for her ability to move away from the rock sound she was so heavily rooted in. The result of this is her debut solo album, 'Queens Die Proudly,' which showcases her abilities as a beautiful singer and a talented songwriter.Commagere's newest video is for 'Nature of Things,' a song written about the heartache caused by a fading relationship. Her angelic and moving voice is backed by guitar legend Ry Cooder, who is the father of her former bandmate/boyfriend Joachim Cooder.
In the video, Commagere's face is pictured in a glowing red light and adorned with a 'Phantom of the Opera'/Lady Gaga-esque crystal mask, which reflects the light in a stunning manner. "[The director] Michael thought he had it all figured out until I pulled out my Swarovski crystal mask I got in London," Commagere tells Spinner. "I sure put the screws to him!"
