Glastonbury Festival organisers have revealed the results of poll held over the past week asking whether flags should be allowed at the annual music event -- and fans have answered "yes."Counting up the votes cast from music fans in 71 different countries, from Azerbaijan to Venezuela via Peru, 55% of people polled at Glastonburyfestivals.co.uk said "keep the flags."
Commenting on the "narrow win," the Somerset festival planners said, "As well as the result itself, it's been really useful to get an idea of the passion this debate raises among festival-goers, by reading your comments across the web."
As reported previously on Spinner, UK rock festival Download has banned flags from this June's event, and Reading and Leeds festival have imposed a ban since last summer.
Glastonbury festival takes place for three days from Jun. 25 -- headliners U2 are likely to be joined by Muse and Stevie Wonder.
