With just a week left until their sell-out gig at London's Shepherds Bush Empire on Feb. 17, Hole -- well, Courtney Love and three other people who aren't guitarist Eric Erlandson, bassist Melissa Auf der Maur and drummer Patty Schemel -- have announced an intimate gig on Thursday night (Feb. 11) at Camden's Proud Galleries. Also on the bill is I Blame Coco, aka Coco Sumner, the daughter of superstar Sting and actress Trudie Styler.
Courtney is expected to preview material from her forthcoming album, 'Nobody's Daughter.'
As previously reported on Spinner, Love's decision to resurrect the Hole name without the participation of any of her erstwhile colleagues has been the subject of much controversy. Despite protestations from Eric Erlandson about her use of the band's moniker, Love claimed that the matter had been legally settled.
'Nobody's Daughter' will be Hole's first new material in over a decade and Love's first since 2004's 'America's Sweetheart'. No release date for the new album has been confirmed yet.
