Dr. Conrad Murray, the former physician of Michael Jackson has preparations to work as a doctor again, it has been reported.Dr. Murray is currently on $75,000 bail from a Los Angeles court -- after pleading not guilty to the charge that he 'unlawfully' killed Jackson last June -- awaiting a hearing to start on Apr. 5.
Speaking on behalf of Dr. Murray's attorney Edward Chernoff, spokeswoman Miranda Sevcik has said that the doctor will practice from another doctor's office in Nevada. She said, "We're not sharing the location because the doctor's primary concern is for his patients' privacy."
Dr. Murray, according to the LA Times, has held a Nevada state medical licence since 1999 which is not due for renewal until 2011. However since the court appearance on Monday (Feb. 8), he will not be able to prescribe certain drugs. He has also had his passport retained by the court.
Los Angeles court Judge Keith Schwartz said to Dr. Murray, "You may not under any circumstances use any anaesthetic agents, specifically Propofol."
The use of the drug Propofol was one of the reasons cited for Michael Jackson's death in the coroner's homicide report.
