Rage Against the Machine Announce Free London Concert Ticket Details

As promised, the 'X Factor' Christmas number one slayers, Rage Against the Machine have confirmed that they will play a celebratory, thank you show for their fans in the UK this June.Rage Against the Machine, whose track 'Killing in the Name' beat 'X Factor' winner Joe Mcelderry in December's singles chart race, have kept their promise that tickets for the show -- which will take place at north London's Finsbury Park on Saturday Jun. 6 -- will be free of charge.
Guitarist Tom Morello confirmed the live show, saying, "The people of the UK toppled the 'X Factor' giant, raised a great deal of money for homeless charities, and shocked the world. As a thank you to our UK fans and freedom fighters we promised to play a free show. Well... here we come. Jun. 6, Finsbury Park -- the celebration/party/revolution is on!"
Fans can apply for a maximum of two tickets each via an online lottery at theragefactor.co.uk from now until midnight on Sunday Feb. 14.
Tickets will be released from 9am next Wednesday (Feb. 17).
To prevent tickets being re-sold all tickets will carry photo identification and the holder's name and address.
A full supporting bill for the gig will be announced soon.
