10 Billionth iTunes Download to Win $10,000 Prize

Better be quick! At the time of this writing, the iTunes tracks countdown clock is speeding past 9,922,370,000 -- and whoever downloads the 10 billionth track will win a prize of a $10,000 US (£6,375) gift card.

iTunes, which has sold digital music tracks for the past seven years, is about to hit the 10 billion milestone, and the gift card giveaway is Apple's extravagant way of "saying thanks."

As well as announcing the customer prize, iTunes has also revealed what the all-time biggest sellers have been on the site. There are some surprises: Black Eyed Peas and Lady Gaga both have two entries in the top 10.
