Oasis Win Brits Album of 30 Years

After a public vote, Oasis have walked away with the Best British Album of the Last 30 Years with their 1996 career highlight '(What's The Story) Morning Glory' at the Brit Awards at Earls Court on Tuesday night (Feb. 16).The late Britpoppers beat stiff competition from Coldplay, Phil Collins, Dido, Dire Straits, Keane, Sade, Travis and the Verve for 'Urban Hymns.'
Having receive the award from former Slade singer Noddy Holder, Liam said: "Listen kids, I wanna thank bald head (Bonehead), Guigs, Alan White and the best f----- fans in the world."
With his short speech over, Liam then tossed both his microphone and award into the audience. The evening's host, comedian Peter Kay, was unimpressed with Gallagher's behaviour and was then heard to utter, "What a knobhead" as Brits officials pleaded with an audience member to give the award back.
