Kasabian cemented their reputation as one of the biggest bands in Britain as they took the Brit Award for Best British Group at the London ceremony on Tuesday night (Feb. 16). They beat an indie-friendly line-up which also included Doves, Friendly Fires and Muse and R & B group JLS.
The band trooped on stage to join host Peter Kay, where frontman Tom Meighan (pictured) quipped, "You can't make an omelette without breaking some eggs."
Meighan stayed on stage with Kay trading wisecracks as the British comedian welcomed Cat Deeley on to the podium to present the Best International Breakthrough Award.
