Following the success of their video 'I Sing I Swim,' Icelandic indie rock band Seabear is back with a new cinematic creation for their latest track, 'I'll Build a Fire.' The band -- whose album 'We Built a Fire' is set for release in March 2010 -- gained popularity after 'I Sing I Swim' became a YouTube sensation. The video, which was filmed in Iceland, features a young girl whose face appears as a projector for a myriad of brilliant colors and patterns. Another image that arises within the video is that of a young couple wandering through the woods. The audience never sees the faces of the pair, but instead is given a first-person perspective, showing the world through their eyes.
Paired with the soothing vocals of lead singer Sindri Már Sigfússon, the video offers a stunning vision quest through the fiery hearts of young lovers. The end of the video features various explosions of color as the couple builds a fire in the woods. These last few images give the audience a sense of something being illuminated or ignited within the soul of these participants. Check out the video below!
