Music Appreciation: Harrison Ford
- Posted on Feb 18th 2010 3:00PM by Benjy Eisen
Before portraying Han Solo in 'Star Wars,' Harrison Ford was something of a hippie. Monterey Pop Festival? The Human Be-In? He was there. For awhile, he even toured with the Doors. "I barely remember anything," says Ford, who was on the crew of a Doors documentary that never came to fruition. "I'm quite sure there was nothing in focus." Sounds like fun. (PS: If you know the whereabouts of the footage, get in touch with Ford. As he put it, "Boy, that would be some great stuff to see.")- Filed under: Music Appreciation

This is a wonderful opinion. The things mentioned are unanimous and needs to be appreciated by everyone. I appreciate the concern which is been rose. The things need to be sorted out because it is about the individual but it can be with everyone.

Indy hated snakes. Jim practicaly wrote love poems to them. Alas, the friendship was doomed from the start...

Jim arrived late and did a great job even though he had enough alcohol to drown a horse. I found out they released the event on cd as live at the Aquarius Theater. I remember there were cameras, I think, maybe Ford was there. I wish I could go back in time with a video camera.

But I loved them both, even though they hated each other in real life. They both left us with a lasting body of music that I will cherish forever, and I was only 5 when Morrison died. My parents were into the Doors and Janis and so many others of that time, so I grew up with their music in the house. Anyway, I would love to see that footage, if in fact it still exists.
