With the huge production values for U2's 360 Tour, the revered band is knows it had better give fans the best bang for their buck. On Saturday, the Dublin foursome got a little closer to fulfilling those expectations by naming Lenny Kravitz, the Fray and Interpol as opening acts on its North American trek this summer.Kravitz will support Bono and the boys for the first three dates of its six-week run, which gets underway in Salt Lake City on June 3. Lenny will then hand over the responsibility to piano-pop sensations the Fray, who will open for the group in Oakland, Seattle and Edmonton.
U2 will then fly to England for a one-off performance at Glastonbury Music Festival on June 25 before returning to the States for another three weeks of gigs. Interpol -- who are expected to release the follow up to 2007's 'Our Love to Admire' this year -- will assume the supporting slot for six shows, starting on June 27 in Minneapolis .
While there is still no word on who will open for the group during its final three dates, an announcement is expected soon.

Lenny Kravitz? The Fray? Whats that about? Why would Interpol do this? Is anyone else just about tired of U2 and their preachy "look at us" music? They lately just seem to come off as thinking they are always the smartest people in the room. Their "we can save the world" schtick has been wearing thin for a long time.
