Public Image Ltd. Announce North American Tour

After Public Image Ltd. perform at this year's Coachella on April 16 -- their first US show in 18 years -- the band announced it would be hitting the road for a North American tour.

Celebrating 30 years since the band's first US trek and their TV debut on 'American Bandstand,' ex-Sex Pistol and PiL frontman John Lydon, guitarist Lu Edmonds, bassist Scott Firth and drummer Bruce Smith will kick off the tour April 17 in San Francisco. Tentatively set at 16 gigs, the run wraps in New York on May 18, with European festival dates planned for the summer.

Known for fusing rock, dance, folk, ballet pop and dub, PiL has been known to give an electrifying show and still have a few surprises up their sleeve. 'Public Image,' 'This Is Not a Love Song,' 'Rise' and 'Disappointed' are just some of the songs that the band will play on tour.
