Bluesy metal trio Them Crooked Vultures -- Josh Homme, John Paul Jones and Dave Grohl -- are the textbook definition of a supergroup. But backstage at New York's Roseland Ballroom before a recent concert, these acclaimed musicians came across as anything but heavy.In this exclusive video interview, the guys -- who will reportedly be recording a second album this summer -- discuss their first gig and their recent visit to 'Saturday Night Live.' Screw Led Zeppelin , they never called when they did so called reunion tours , so "old" Jon Paul is doing much better now, and reaching a much younger audience playing in a younger supergroup with Dave Grohl and Josh Homme. The writer was suprised they were laid back, are you kidding me? Who was the writer and was he like 60 or was he on his first gig? Of course they were laid back, Dave Grohl has always been one of the coolest and funniest interviews in music of any type and any band he has ever put together has had that same personality. I'm sure he is in awe that he is playing in a band with JPJ, since Zeppelin was an influence when he was growing up. This should be interesting and they should rock !

Please don't bring your political shit here. This is one of the best bands on the earth right now. Supergroup? Definitely! Josh Homme of Queens of The Stone Age, Kyuss, Eagles of Death Metal, Dessert Sessions, Dave fucking Grohl of Nirvana, Foo Fighters, and Probot. And none other then John Paul fucking Jones from Led Zeppelin. So take your anti-obama B.S. back to AOL where you came from.

As far as I can remember, Dave has been in Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Queens of the Stone Age, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, and TCV.
