Gorillaz Battle Bruce Willis in 'Stylo' Video
- Posted on Mar 2nd 2010 10:00AM by Dan Reilly
In the first promo video for the new Gorillaz record, 'Plastic Beach,' we watched as bassist Murdoc Niccals dodged bullets from an anonymous sniper while he headed to the destination referenced in the album title. Now, the Damon Albarn-created band has released its first music video for 'Stylo,' and the guns are still blazing. There's one difference this time around, though. Whereas the 'Murdoc' clip was all animated, this video finds them in a high-speed pursuit through an actual desert with two flesh-and-blood adversaries: a portly lawman and none other than Bruce Willis. The gunfire here also seems to have an actual effect on the toons, with some surprising results.
'Stylo,' the first single off the album, features guest vocals by soul crooner Bobby Womack and rapper Mos Def. Find out how the chase ends by watching the clip on YouTube.

Does he sing here? No, he's doing what he does best. A great coup for Gorillaz, fantastic stuff.
