Courtney Love Brings Hole to UK for Trio of Gigs
- Posted on Mar 3rd 2010 5:00AM by Matt Glazebrook
Courtney Love and company are set to hit the UK for their first Hole tour here for more than 10 years. Well, we say 'tour.' It's a bit of a blink-and-you'll-miss-it affair for the grunge survivors: Things kick off in Glasgow on May 3, head down south for a May 5 London show, then back up West Midlands-way for a May 9 in Birmingham. And that's your lot.All three shows are the city's respective O2 Academy venues, and tickets go on sale at 9am sharp on Thursday morning (Mar. 4). Hole will end a 12-year recording hiatus in April when they release their fourth album, 'Nobody's Daughter.' The effort is the follow-up to 2002's 'Celebrity Skin'.
Love officially reconstituted Hole, albeit with herself as the only returning member, late last year. The new look four-piece made their UK gigging return on Feb. 17 with a one-off performance in London.

It's about time Courtney Love finally came out with her upcoming Cd. I've been waiting for it since 2007.
