Describe your sound in your own words.
Abrasive, loud, and socio-political opinions.
How did your band form?
Through the death of another band -- generally how these things happen. The current lineup came together after a few departures, beers, and sub-par pool games on unlevel tables with warped pool sticks.
What are your musical influences?
Corporate jobs, political nonsense, Napalm Death, Terrorizer, beer, tongue-in-cheek humor, Crossed Out, Nasum, Infest, Despise You, Brutal Truth, Rotten Sound, Entombed, good Mexican food, angry leprechauns, caffeine, crazy women, etc.
How did you come up with your band name?
We hate our jobs and enjoy movies like 'Falling Down' and 'Glengarry Glen Ross.' The name just came naturally at the time we needed a name.
What's your biggest vice?
Well, my biggest vice would be beer and donuts while on tour. Also, watching Fox News and MSNBC for entertainment only.
What's your musical guilty pleasure?
Personally, I don't feel guilty about listening to the music I do, but just for the readers enjoyment or voluntary vomiting here are ideas of what I'm spinning currently ... Electronic music, '80s pop music, and British rock, like Oasis, Keane, Radiohead, Travis along with the usual fare of grindcore, power violence, and early '90s death metal.
Who designs your fliers?
We've never commissioned an individual to design fliers for general show promotion. A good portion of the time, show promoters are the ones who design or commission the fliers.
Does he/they do all of the art for the band?
No, we've had a handful of people help us with artwork in the past. Our last two albums had artwork done by a friend of the band, Aaron Nichols. Some of our T-shirt designs have come from various people out of the kindness of their little hearts, we either throw what cash we can their way or pull the "too punk to pay" card depending on our payroll schedules and when we're harassed for payment of said goods and services.
What's up with Morgan's leg?
There are pics where it looks like it is wrapped and we've even seen a pic where it looks prosthetic. We even saw two fans mention that they couldn't tell if it was prosthetic or not. Those are pics probably dating back to 2004-2005 when Morgan had reconstructive surgery on his knee to replace cartilage and such. He was provided a bionic leg by NASA while his knee was in the shop.
What's the craziest thing you've seen or experienced while on tour?
A tire blowing out on our old van, that blew a hole in the gas tank when we were driving through Pennsylvania. One spark and everything could have gone up in flames.
How do you bring that much energy night after night?
Caffeine, multivitamins, beer for some and the anxiety of sitting in a van for several hours to get from point A to point B with the only major physical activity being provided by pumping gas and walking around in convenience stores and truck stops looking for the restroom.
Beatles or Stones?
Led Zeppelin.
