Lily Allen Flouts Smoking Ban Again

In what appears to be something of -- ahem -- a habit, Brit Award-winning singer Lily Allen once again flouted the smoking ban when she puffed on a cigarette midway through her co-headlining set with rapper Dizzee Rascal at the MEN Arena in Manchester on Friday night (Mar. 5).As previously reported on Spinner, Allen was said to have breached the ban when she was alleged to have smoked when playing the Echo Arena in Liverpool last December. She also broke the ban last May when she sparked up mid-set during her gig at West London's Tabernacle venue.
The irony of Friday night's rule breaking is that Allen is recovering from a bout of bronchitis which was affecting her singing at the concert. At one point, she even apologised to the crowd for her vocals being less than perfect.
She said, "I've got a bout of bronchitis so sorry if my singing's a bit s---. Not that it's any good anyway."
Allen's penchant for mischief also saw her singling out Liverpool FC and England player Steven Gerrard who was in the audience. Given the fierce rivalry between Liverpool FC and Manchester United, the mere mention of the striker prompted a chorus of booing.
"That's what I thought. Manchester on a Friday night -- are you sure bruv?" she joked.
Quite whether the local council takes such a light-hearted view of her behaviour remains to be seen.

Smoking I generally not healthy. In case of Lily Allen, if she has a bout of bronchitis, it is high time that she should say good bye to this habit. Knowing that one has bronchitis and smoking even in spite of it can lead to several complications in the long run!As a good fan of Allen, I sincerely wish she quits smoking and gets out of bronchitis soon! I want her to continue singing for ever

Many hotels and resorts deal with smoking patrons in a non
smoking environment (especially spoiled celebs like Lily Allen), There is usually a charge for customers that smoke
and cause smoke damage, like discolored walls and pungent odors, that won't go away with simple cleaning. Depending on each hotel or resort the price varies accordingly. They (the idiot celebs) don't really get away with it in the end!

A couple of years ago, I used to get Katy Perry and Lily
Allen mistaken for each other. What was I thinking? I think Katy Perry is so much better looking than her British rival, Lily Allen. She looks more like a chunky version of Amy Winehouse. Wow what a double bagger! lol. Lily is a lot like Barack Obama who also has a serious cigarette addiction. So bad, that he's lifting a ban on all hotels in the DC area, thus making it even more easier
for smokers. Not a good idea, but oh well.

The best part of being "old" is that I have lived in a FREE world. Killing unborn babies, gambling your paycheck away on a state lottery, and getting sodomized are now OK.What's wrong with this picture? Don't DARE smoke a cigarette or drink soft drinks with sweetners. You are committing a sin, now. What bullshlt!. ( PS..I still light up when I feel like it. The PC, tobacco police NEVER feck with us. Just the owners of the bar, a few days later.) Wake up you assholes out there. YOUR freedoms are being taken away by the minute. The last 20 years have been insane.

Lily is the best she gets no play here in the U.S.A. you can't even find her CD's in the stores but I download everything I can find from her I've let several friends hear her and all but one loved her music smoke up Lily it's your world hun F Lady GaGa Lily is the real deal

Lily has very little talent. However I don't knock her hustle. I there are those who would pay to hear her,
good for her, and more power to them....but to smoke where its prohibited, just shows what a thoughtless ass
she is, but its the arena's fault for not properly dealing with it, a-n-d her, just as they would if someone else lit up. Too many of these "stars" think they are above the rules. I wish it had been my business. I would have seen to it that Miss Lily looked
real silly!!!! I would have called the authorities.
