Simon & Garfunkel to Tour North America This Spring

Earlier this year, Simon & Garfunkel surprised music fans everywhere when they announced what appeared to be a one-off headlining slot at the world-renowned Jazz & Heritage Festival in New Orleans on April 24. More recently, the pair dazzled an audience of seasoned rock fans at the 25th Anniversary Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Concert in New York. But the best new development for fans of the iconic duo came on Monday when they announced an actual North American tour. That's right -- Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel are going back on the road, together again. Perhaps taking a cue from other touring veterans such as Paul McCartney and Bob Dylan, the pair will travel to some cities that they've never before performed in while visiting others for the first time in years. Also exciting: the setlist will include many of their classic hits while making room for a few highlights from their respective solo careers.
For fans in the United States, there's just one catch: Most of the tour dates will actually be in Canada. It's like watching 2010 Winter Olympic hockey all over again. In fact, following the Jazz Fest date, the tour even kicks off proper on April 29 in Vancouver. Click here for the full itinerary and official information.
