MGMT, 'Flash Delirium' -- Song Premiere
- Posted on Mar 9th 2010 2:45PM by Benjy Eisen
Instead of moving to Paris and finding some models for wives, MGMT decided to enjoy the fruits of their sudden success by moving to Malibu, surfing and figuring out just how in the hell they would follow up an album like 'Oracular Spectacular.'As great as that album is, it's been played. And played. And played. So MGMT co-pilots Andrew Van Wyngarden and Ben Goldwasser decided to, if not reinvent their wheel, at least give it different bearings. The result, 'Congratulations,' drops on April 13 and if the teaser track, 'Flash Delirium,' is any indication, they succeeded in their goal.
Listen to this exclusive stream of 'Flash Delirium' below and you'll surely agree that their tongue-in-cheek congratulations are actually, legitimately, in order.

I can tell I like it because I couldn't help but do the headbanging-stomping-thing. idk why anybody has complained about the "non-mainstream" (code: non-contemporary) style of the track. Anyway, official apologies made, hopefully everybody's happy when the whole album comes out.
I have never really liked MGMT, but I am in love with this song. I believe they win all oreos.
