When it was announced last spring that Daft Punk would be writing the score for the upcoming film, 'Tron: Legacy,' fans and critics alike had the same reaction -- "that makes perfect sense." The French duo's original soundtrack has long been the subject of Web speculation and rumor, but now the first snippets can finally be heard in the film's official trailer. While there's only about two minutes worth of music, it's pretty evident that the score will be both energetic and brooding -- the perfect mix for the dark, violent cyber world where much of the movie is set. Daft Punk are also reportedly making a cameo in the film alongside recent Oscar-winner Jeff Bridges, who starred in the original 'Tron' in 1982. Check out the trailer for the movie, which opens December 17, after the jump.
