Conan O'Brien to Perform at Bonnaroo on Upcoming Tour

Conan O'BrienNot one to let unemployment get him down, Conan O'Brien is heading out on the road on a comedy tour that will take him to Bonnaroo. The 32-city trek, dubbed "The Legally Prohibited From Being Funny on Television Tour," kicks off April 12 in Eugene, Ore.

Just days after making his return to New York -- where he used to perform for free on 'Late Night' -- with two shows at Radio City Music Hall, O'Brien will head to Manchester, Tenn., to perform at the annual festival on June 11. Other comedians on the bill this year include Margaret Cho, a roast by Jeff Ross, Greg Giraldo and Parks and Recreation' star Aziz Ansari, who's currently working on a hip-hop mixtape with TV on the Radio's Dave Sitek.

Bonnaroo runs from June 10 to 13 and features, as always, a great and diverse lineup. Among the big-name acts this year are Dave Matthews Band, Jay-Z, Kings of Leon, Stevie Wonder and a special performance of Pink Floyd's 'Dark Side of the Moon' by the Flaming Lips.

Jay Leno is and always has been a class act. He's a likeable friendly, funny guy. He deserves none of the blame for what happened in that NBC late night schmozzle. Everyone has their own sense of humour. Jay Leno's humour is less frenetic and not as slapstick oriented as Conan O'Brien's. People watch late night television to wind down after a busy day.Conan's style was too busy and was more suited to a Saturday morning kids show than a late night talk show. Conan is probably a nice guy as well and he'll find his niche in television eventually, however I doubt that it will ever be in a late night spot.

I think a more accurate description is to simply say "legally prohibited from being funny" and leave it at that. Thank god for "Family Guy" reruns on the Cartoon Network so I don't have to watch Jimmy, Dave or Jay and their tired schticks.

This guy is a huge no-talent....He only confirms the dumbing down of America with his juvenile act....
The networks only have him one year contracts for a long time for a good reason...They were hoping Johnny Carson would be resuscitated or they were planning to prop him up behind the desk like 'A Weekend At Bernie's'.
ANYONE is better than O'brinehead.

Personally I love watching Ferguson....and have nothing bad to say about Conan, Leno or Letterman...it is show biz. HOWEVER "truth by internet" is what burns me. I have never met a LESS self centered man than Leno. He is out and about with people, VERY generous to causes (but you will NEVER her about it because he refuses to allow us to publish what he gives to charity and even to individuals who need help. One of his staff had cancer and he personally called the hospital and offered to cover ALL costs if need be....this staffer lost the battle with cancer and Leno travelled hours with his wife to give the eulogy (and this wasn't some big important celebrity who died...it wasn't done for any financial or celebrity gain). Leno has opened his garage up to car enthusiasts and done so many things no one will ever know. I don't have first hand knowledge of any of the other mens acts of kindness or I would present it as well.

I hope Conan does well with his future career but, once again, he set the wheels in motion and did not get the ratings soon enough. At the end of the day its just business. No need for the trashing of one over another,

REALLY.....who gives a SH!T...the Country is in a MESS, the Congress is a total waste, Obummer is a JOKE and we talk about 'Late Night' hosts>>>>>>>UNBELIEVEABLE!!!!!

Look, Conan is weak but has a loyal following...Leno is a self centered, money grabbing ,attention wanting PIG and Letterman has a 'hard on' because he was NOT picked as 'JOHNNY'S' replacement...WHO CARES...I'm in bed by 8:00pm...and the SICK WORLD goes on and on!!!

Say a prayer!!!!!!

Obviously, both men have talent and each has been hugely rewarded---but before anyone bash Leno about promises to turn over the show, lets not forget that it was NBC who'd set the 5 year timeline. They did this to keep Conan and lets not also forget that NBC, thou, wanting their cake and eating it too, wanted to give Leno 30 minutes and a great lead in for the Tonight Show w/ Conan. Leno won all ratings in the first week---and still has a lead w/ total viewers. No small feat for all of the heat this "egg on the face" nightmare has generated by how NBC handled this.

Going to Eugene to see COCO even if I have to hitchhike!
Love him, don't love Leno.....like Letterman. Will follow Conan on the road or on TV, he's just funny! His old time baseball skit always makes me laugh.

Hello, I wish this big and huge headed red haired piece of crap, would just vanish from space, and get a real life as somebody that anybody cares about. Just my opinion.

Do you have something against people with red-hair?

Folks if only you knew the truth! Over five years ago Conan was hot and HE demanded the Tonight Show (not a bad career move for him) and NBC agreed! Conan also has a $40mil deal if NBC went back on the deal! Leno was being retired (not that he ever wanted it)....Leno had no choice to present it as his retirement but He was bumped by NBC's deal with Conan! Conan played his "hot card" and won...It was Leno who was shafted. Then five years later Leno was on top and NBC tried a compromise that ended up hurting everyone. I have nothing against Conan...but he set the wheels in motion for all of this not Leno. It burns me to see people spouting about Leno when they don't know the truth. I have been a REAL journalist for over 30 years and what I present are facts told to me first hand from people exposed to these transactions inside NBC.
