- Posted on Mar 15th 2010 2:07PM by K. Finley Slocum
While DJing a house party in 2005, J2K and Autobot, now recognized as the reknowned Flosstradamus, met and decided their paths had crossed for a reason. Joining forces and merging their wide musical influences, they were able to bring audiences from both sides of the tracks together with hip-hop, juke, house and punk infused shows. Their monthly "Get Outta The Hood" party at Chicago's Town Hall Pub resulted in around the block lines of kids and the rest is as they say ... history! With many appearances under their belt and a second trip to SXSW this year, they are currently working on their first full length release.

Paul Simon.
How did you come up with your band name?
We're always making puns with friends, and a friend of ours randomly said Flosstradamus and bam there you have it.
What's your biggest vice?
Cities that haven't grasped the concept of 24 hour dining yet.
What's in your festival survival kit?
Water and an iPhone.
Who was your first celeb crush?
Moira Quirk from Guts.
What's your musical guilty pleasure?
No such thing. Even if you like Ja Rule, you better own that s---.
Beatles or Stones?
Both... duh.
What's the craziest thing you've seen or experienced while on tour?
Brazil. Seriously. Go there.
